Staff at Geodata Services, Inc. have used CommunityViz since the first year it was released, applying the software to hundreds of projects ranging from regional to local scale in both urban and rural environments.  Geodata has designed projects that can be applied in greenfield and brownfield settings, urban redevelopment and renewal, natural resource planning, local government comprehensive planning and other environments. Ken Wall, president of Geodata is an authorized CommunityViz training instructor.

 

We provide customized services with CommunityViz, ranging from an entire project, to supporting others in developing projects.  We have training tutorials and hands on sessions that provide up to 6 days of training from beginners to advanced GIS specialists.  Some of our clients perfer we take on and complete the entire project, others prefer we train their staff and enable them in developing and completing a CommunityViz application.  Our specialty is resource conservation, economic development and growth planning in the urban wildland interface, but we have applied CommunityViz projects in urban areas and regional applications.
